Dona Ivone Lara was one of the most influential musicians in Brazil music history. She is known for becoming the face of the Samba genre in Brazil music. She is considered by many to be the true "Queen of Samba"!
Everyone who worked on the "Alexandra Jackson: Legacy & Alchemy" project was ecstatic to hear that they would be a part of the wonderful experience of Dona Ivone Lara's final 2 recordings.
