The graceful and phenomenal vocalist, Paula Santoro!

Paula Santoro is one of the greatest singers of her generation. She was born in Belo Horizonte (Minas Gerais) and has been living in Rio de Janeiro for many years. With several works on stage, recording studios and television, she has steadily gained more recognition from 2002 on, when she was one of the winners of the Visa Music Prize. She won the Trophy Faísca twice as best singer in Minas Gerais, and was nominated for Best Singer in the Rival Petrobrás de Música Award.

In 2017, Paula was nominated for the Profissionais da Música Award for Best Singer and for the US Press Awards in four categories: Best Singer, Best Album, Best Brazilian Artist and Best Show. She has five solo albums, the last three being distributed in Europe, USA, Japan, Argentina and Brazil: "Paula Santoro" (Biscoito Fino), "Mar do meu Mundo" (Borandá) and "Metal na Madeira" (Ridgeway Records).

Her discography includes dozens of collaborations on albums of artists including Guinga, Arthur Verocai, Mário Adnet, Nivaldo Ornelas, Bianca Gismonti, Eduardo Neves, amongst many others. One of these collaborations was on the album "Um olhar sobre Villa-Lobos" by Mario Adnet, which was nominated for a Latin Grammy.
