Today we salute Greg Peck, a behind-the-scenes living legend of the American music industry, and our valued colleague and friend of almost 35 years.
THE LEGACY
Greg Peck formerly was President of Bahia / RCA Records, Senior Vice President of Warner Brothers Records, Senior Vice President of Island Records, Vice President of Polygram Records, Vice President of Qwest Records, and a Director at Elektra Records, Columbia / CBS Records, Atlantic Records, Capitol Records, and LaFace / Arista Records.
In a career of almost 25 years ... that spanned Jazz, R&B, Hip Hop and Pop ... among the many music industry legends that Greg crafted marketing and promotion strategies for included Michael Jackson, Earth, Wind & Fire, Isley Brothers, Teddy Pendergrass, Dexter Gordon, Ronnie Foster, the Heath Brothers, Simply Red, Grand Master Flash, Erik B. & Rakim, Midnight Star, Anthony Hamilton, Will Downing, and many others.
In 2007, Greg was senior adviser to Legacy and Alchemy CEO Robert Hebert at the early formation of our company. Mr. Hebert credits Mr. Peck with being a crucial voice and guide in our understanding of the transition of the American music industry from physical to digital sales, and of the seismic shift in how music would be marketed and promoted in the future.
As hinted by the name of his former label BAHIA RECORDS, Greg Peck also was an important influence for Legacy and Alchemy at the very beginning of its journey to promote Brazilian music on a global basis.
THE ALCHEMY
Based in New York City .... Greg Peck is now one of the world's leading fitness experts, a health educator, and a health and wellness coach as CEO of Greg Peck Fitness and Wellness.

Greg is the author of two books: “Exercise for the Mind, Body, and Soul” -- an inspirational journey to exercise meant to refresh and replenish the mind, body and soul; and “Exercise with the Stars” -- a detailed description of each sign in the zodiac in terms of workout potential and possible positive activity choices in the physical realm. Plus each sign's guarded secrets. Greg also is the creator of the exercise tool Exerglyde, which will be coming to the market soon.
Greg is certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) with the following specializations: senior fitness, women’s fitness, corrective exercise, behavioral change, and weight loss. He is also certified in pre- and post-natal exercise as well as kettlebells.
